SEO news - Google algorithm change could favour mobile responsive sites

On 21st April search engine Google, the biggest global search resource, will start to implement a huge change in the search algorithm used for listing sites in mobile browsers.

This is will affect many older web sites that were not built on a responsive framework. As responsive sites are relatively new in comparison with the age of the web in general there is likely to be some tolerance but it will be interesting to see how it pans out over time.

Hertsmedia sites are all now built on a responsive framework and we are busy upgrading some of our existing customers sites which were due for an overhaul in terms of content and images.
